A story you walk through

Beneath the towers of Trakošćan Castle, fairy tales come to life: Cinderella, Snow White and the Evil Queen with her magic mirror, Little Red Riding Hood with the huntsman, the Ice Queen, Hansel and Gretel, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty, joined by the heroes of Croatian fairy tales by Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić. The romantic 13th-century castle gains an illuminated bailey full of fairy tales and music.

The exhibition is accessible for visitors with disabilities and prams, but it takes place in castle grounds where access can be difficult — we recommend assistance.

Dogs

Yes — dogs are welcome: on a lead and muzzled, please bring waste bags. Guide and assistance dogs are always admitted free of charge and without a muzzle.
